1Preheat oven to 375F
21. In a medium bowl, combine flours, baking powder, salt, sugar, spices.
3In another bowl combine milk, egg, oil, applesauce. Add wet mixture to dry ingredients. Mixing only until moistened.
4Stir in small diced, peeled and cored apples.
5Divide batter into six muffin cups.
6Mix flaxseed meal and brown sugar in a small bowl. Cut in butter. Divide mixture to top each of the six muffins.
7Bake muffins for about 20 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the centers comes out clean.
