Steps
Sequence Step
1rinse lentils in sieve under cold water until water runs clear
2heat oil in heavy based saucepan over med heat. Add onion and garlic and cook for 6 - 7 mins or until onion softens. Add the giner, ground coriander, cumin, turmeric and chilli powder. Cook, stirring for 1 min
3stir in lentils and stock, Cover and bring to a simmer. Simmer, uncovered for 20-25 mins, or until mixture thickens and lentils are soft.. season to taste, stir in lemon juice and coriander
