Melt one stick of butter along with 1 tsp. of minced garlic in a medium saucepan over med-low heat. Pour in cream.

Increase heat to medium and cook approximately ten minutes. Whisk down when the cream begins to rise toward the rim of the saucepan, moving off heat as needed.

Add freshly grated Parmesan and whisk until slightly thickened. Serve over fresh pasta.
