Put chickpeas in food processor and process until finely ground

Add remaining wet ingredients to the chickpeas and process until smooth.

In a large bowl, mix all the dry ingredients.

Combine chickpea mixture and dry ingredients and knead until you see plenty of strands. It should be fairly wet but not soupy.

Spread mixture in a 10 x 15 inch glass baking dish (you can use 9x13, but you may need to bake it a little longer).

Mix BBQ sauce and 1/4 water in separate bowl. Then spread evenly over the top. Bake at 325 F for 1 1/2 hours. check the middle for doneness with a fork. it should be fairly firm - not mushy.
