1heat oil in skillet over medium high heat, add onion, bell pepper, garlic, and jalapeno. cook, stirring frequently for 3min, reduce heat to low, stir in cumin
2transfer mixture to pot. add beans and stock. cook 30 minute, then remove half the beans and puree. mix puree back into soup with cilantro. cook five to ten more minutes and serve.
