Place 2 cups of water in sauce pan add two beef bouillon cubes to water and bring to a boil

in the meantime, prepare sauce by slicing mushrooms and chopping onion

Place 2T of butter in medium skillet, add onions and mushrooms and cook over medium heat until soft; remove from pan.

Bring a large pot of water to a boil. cook egg noodles in boiling water until done, about 8 minutes. drain

Mix flour and beef broth together

Melt remaining butter in deep skillet. cook beef in melted butter until browned

Stir in beef broth and flour mixture and cook until slightly thickened

Add mushroom and onion; stir in sour cream

Season to taste with salt and pepper
