Heat 1 tablespoon oil in a large nonstick skillet over medium high heat. Add onions and cook until lightly browned.

Add bacon cook for a minute, stirring.

Add diced tomatoes and chilies, cook until it forms a paste.

Add refried beans 1 cup of water and milk, stir gently and cook for ten minutes until it forms a thick consistency.
Turn off the heat, add cilantro, cover the skillet, for five minutes.

Serve with over hot rice or serve with any flat bread.
