Steps
Sequence Step
1Saute chopped carrots and celery in butter until tender; then add flour and mix to coat evenly. Slowly add warmed chicken broth -- stirring constantly to prevent lumps. Add thyme, salt and pepper and corn until all vegetables are tender. Add chicken (I shred instead of chopping) to heat through. Add half and half just before serving. Can add a pinch of nutmeg for an added flavor.
