Preheat oven to 350

Mash bananas, add sour cream and vanilla

Sift flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt together

Cream room temp butter and sugar in electric mixer until fluffy

Add eggs one at a time and beat after each addition

Add banana mixture and beat until combined

Add dry ingredients , beating on low and scraping bowl until just combined

Add walnuts

Pour batter into greased and floured 9 X 5 loaf pan

Bake about 60 minutes. Top will be dark golden brown and start to crack. Toothpick inserted in center will be clean
