Combine egg, flour, milk and baking powder in a medium-sized bowl. Mix thoroughly.

Whip egg whites in a small bowl until stiff peaks form. I sometimes use a dash of salt and a pinch of Cream of Tartar to expedite the process.

Gently fold egg whites into egg/flour/milk/powder mixture; pour batter into greased waffle maker. Cook to your liking. Remove from waffle maker and top as desired. Enjoy!!!!
