Sequence Step
1Cut beef into cubes and brown in skillet, sprayed with nonstick spray, over high heat.
2Cut up celery and onion
3Rinse lentils and check for stones. Add all ingredients to large soup pot.
4Bring to boil and reduce heat to simmer until all ingredients are tender and flavors are blended - 1 to 2 hours.
5You can substitute 7 beef bouillon cubes and 7 cups water for the beef broth.
