1Heat oven to 400 degrees.
2Grease a 9x5x3-inch loaf pan.
3Mix flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt.
4Beat egg in a large bowl. Stir in buttermilk, molasses (or honey) and butter.
5Stir in flour mixture.
6Mix in walnuts and raisins.
7Scrape batter into prepared pan and bake 50-60 minutes, or until bread is well browned.
8Remove from oven and place on a wire rack to cool.
