Separate eggs. Mix all ingredients together except regular brown sugar and egg whites. Very thick batter, so press into bottom of pan 8x8". Sprinkle chocolate chips over batter. Make meringue: 2 egg whites (beaten stiff)and 1 cup brown sugar and spoon over batter. Cook in oven, not too hot, for about 30 minutes 350 F, cook bottom and meringue all at once. Cool and cut in squares.
