PREPREPARATION INSTRUCTIONS:
THAW HENS UNDER REFRIGERATION.
GREASE PANS.
1. REMOVE NECKS AND GIBLETS. WASH HENS (INSIDE AND OUT) THOROUGHLY UNDER
COLD RUNNING WATER. DRAIN WELL; PAT DRY.

USING SHARP BONING KNIFE OR CLEAVER, SPLIT HENS IN HALF LENGTHWISE.

PLACE EACH HALF, SKIN SIDE UP, ON LIGHTLY GREASED PANS.

BAKE 1 HOUR. (CONVECTION OVEN 325 F. 30 MINUTES(HIGH FAN CLOSED VENT)

HEAT SYRUP AND WATER TO A BOIL TO PRODUCE A GLAZE.

REMOVE HENS FROM OVEN; BRUSH TOPS WITH GLAZE.

RETURN TO OVEN; BAKE 20 TO 25 MINUTES OR UNTIL DONE (180F.)

POUR REMAINING WARM GLAZE OVER HENS IN EACH PAN BEFORE SERVING.
