2. ADD SALT AND BEANS TO BOILING WATER.
3. BRING TO A BOIL; COVER; SIMMER 5 TO 8 MINUTES OR UNTIL JUST TENDER.
DRAIN; RESERVE INDICATED AMOUNT OF RESERVED LIQUID.
4. COMBINE ONIONS, TOMATOES, BEANS, RESERVED LIQUID, AND PEPPER. MIX
