chicken breast halves, boneless, skinless

Brown bacon pieces in non stick skillet .

Add chopped onion and cook 3-4 min.

Cut chicken breast into small (1-2 inch) pieces.

Mix flour, paprika, salt and pepper and coat chicken in mixture.

Add chicken to skillet with bacon and onion and brown slightly.(5-6 minutes)

Add chicken stock and cover pan. Simmer on low heat 40-50 minutes.

Bring to boil 2 qt of water in large saucepan

Add 1 tsp salt to boiling water.

In a large bowl, combine egg and 1 cup water.

Mix flour and 1/2 tsp salt.

Add flour mix to egg water gradually. (Batter will be very sticky and break from a spoon, instead of pouring)

Spoon batter into boiling water by teaspoon full, dipping spoon into water each time.

Remove with slotted spoon and set aside in warm bowl.

Add cooked noodles (spaetzle) to chicken pan and simmer to heat through.
