Pick, rinse and drain beans.

Place beans in kettle with first listed water. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat. Simmer for 1 hour. Drain. Discard cooking liquid.

Add second listed water, onions, maple syrup, brown sugar and mustard.

Add apples and place in a 2" steamtable pan. Cover with foil. Bake ia a 375 degree F oven for 1 hour or until beans and apples are fully tender.
