Recipe Description
This is a very good alternative to traditional molé sauce, which uses crackers as a thickener. It thickens as you cook/reheat it, so keep extra chicken broth on hand to thin it out for leftovers.

Chop onions in a some what fine dice

Heat oil in a pan

Add onions to the pan and sauté until transluscent.

Add all ingredients besides broth and tomatoes. Stir until they form a paste in the skillet

Add broth and tomatoes. Simmer for 10 minutes before adding in chicken.

Simmer chicken for 1 hour. Serve.
