Place cantaloupe cubes and ice into the container of a blender. Process until the ice is in small pieces. Add sugar, and puree. Pour into tall glasses and serve immediately.

Another variation would be to eliminate the sugar, freeze the melon, then blend with vanilla soy milk, fat free vanilla yogurt, or even diet ginger ale. Spike with an ounce of gin or vodka, or even tequila for a summer cocktail.
