| 1 | Caramelized onions, carrots, celery. Add chard and tomato paste, garlic if desired. | 2 | Deglaze pan with stock. | 3 | Brown meat in large soup pot. Add basil, italian seasoning, fresh ground pepper to taste. When browned add vegetables from pan, tomatoes, stock, and chard leaves. Simmer about 30-45 minutes until all veggies are tender. Add pasta and cook until al dente. Serve topped with a little olive oil and fresh parmesan cheese |
