| 1 | Cut beef into cubes and brown in skillet, sprayed with nonstick spray, over high heat. | 2 | Cut up celery and onion | 3 | Rinse lentils and check for stones. Add all ingredients to large soup pot. | 4 | Bring to boil and reduce heat to simmer until all ingredients are tender and flavors are blended - 1 to 2 hours. | 5 | You can substitute 7 beef bouillon cubes and 7 cups water for the beef broth. |
