Pat thawed calamari rings or seafood blend dry on paper towels. You might try rolling them in paper towels to get out as much liquid as possible.

Toss calamari or seafood blend with 1/4 tsp. coarse salt. Heat olive oil over medium high heat. Then, saute calamari or seafood blend with scallions and red pepper flakes until cooked, about 3 minutes.
