1pat scallops dry with paper towel
2heat large skillet med-high
3sear the scallops on each side until they naturally release from the pan and the internal temperature reaches 155 degrees
4place scallops aside in serving dish
5add oil and cook the ginger, orange zest and chili pepper flakes @ 1 minute stir quickly to avoid burning
6add orange juice and white wine to pan cook until reduced by half
7return scallops to the pan off of the heat to warm quickly
8add green onions and thai basil just before serving
