Recipe Description I was looking for a vegetarian recipe for my son who can't eat cheese. (This could also be made vegan). I am estimating prep and cook time and number of serving.

cup, fluid (yields 2 cups whipped)heavy cream

Steps
Sequence Step
1Melt butter in pot.
3Add the vegetable broth and wine and let the mixture simmer for 10 minutes.
4Let the mixture cool off for 10 minutes and pour into blender.
5Puree mixture.
6In the fondue pot, mix 1/2 cream with the cornstarch.
7Mix well and add the remaining cream and and mushroom puree.
9Add the cayenne pepper and salt and pepper to taste.
10Transfer to fondue pot.
11Dip cubes of cheese, bread for vegetables into fondue.
