Heat olive oil over medium high heat. Add diced onion, garlic, carrots, celery, and green bell pepper. Saute until tender (approx 3 minutes)

Add the sausage (casings removed), break up and cook through.

Add remaining ingredients except kale. Cook over medium-high heat approximately 10 minutes. Add kale and simmer on low for approximately 1 hour.
