1Wash the black beans and soak for 3 hours. Saute onion and tomato in olive oil along with ham chips. One minute. Add the black beans with sufficient water and simmer on medium heat for 2 ½ hours. Halfway through add salt chili powder and chili oil. After the beans are cooked, drain and serve with Mexican rice.
