Steps
Sequence Step
1You will need: Deep baking pan (medium-sized); Large bowl Hand mixer, staff mixer or food processor; Rubber spatula
2Directions: Preheat oven to 220 C.
3Coat your baking pan with the baking spray on bottom and sides to prevent brownies from sticking.
4Beat eggs and egg whites until frothy. Add sugar, applesauce and vanilla and mix together. Then add flour, cocoa, salt, broken chocolate pieces and marshmallows.
5Pour mixture into the baking pan. For best results make sure the chocolate pieces and marshmallows are evenly distrubuted throughout the pan.
6Bake at 220 C for 25 - 40 minutes depending on your oven. To ensure brownies are done, the center of the brownies should be firm and no longer fluid. If they are still fluid, return pan to the oven and cook in 5 minute increments constantly watching that they don''t burn.
7When they are done remove from the oven and let them cool for 10-15 minutes. When cool, cut up into 40 bite-size pieces. Brownies can be served warm, but they taste best when chilled in the fridge.
