4 boneless, skinless chicken thighs (about 1 pound)
1 package of Al Fresco sweet Italian style chicken sausage
1 package of Al Fresco sweet apple chicken sausage
1 can of tomato paste
3 cans of great northern beans, rinsed and drained
1/2 can (empty tomato paste can) of water
1/2 can (empty tomato paste can) red wine
3 cloves of minced garlic
1 cup of whole wheat flour
1 TBSP dried thyme
1 TBSP dried crushed rosemary
1 TBSP garlic powder
1 TBSP onion powder
Olive oil
Salt & pepper to taste
Directions
1. On a large plate, mix the flour and spices; coat each of the chicken thighs in the flour & spice mixture.
2. Cut the sausage into slices; place to the side.
3. Lightly coat a skillet with olive oil (about 1 TSP), add 1 clove of the minced garlic; on medium heat, brown the floured chicken thighs (both sides). Place browned chicken in the slow cooker.
4. Re-coat the skillet with of olive oil (about 1 TSP), add 1 clove of the minced garlic and the sausage. Over medium
