Recipe Description chewy bread with crunchy crust - excellent right out of oven and for toast. Has no oil or sugar - so toast is very light in colour.

1flour into large bowl - add salt and dry yeast - mix well. add water, mix well with danish dough whisk or wooden spoon. dough will be wet and sticky. cover bowl and rest 2 hours. remove from bowl and mould into 2 loaves. can mould french, round loaf or use standard pans (greased lightly). let rise about 1 hour and bake 400 degree for 25 to 35 minutes until medium gold brown crust. Optional to brush hot crust with butter after baked.
