| 1 | Preheat oven to 400F. Lightly grease 9" square pan. | 2 | Mix cornmela and milk in a small bowl so the cornmeal can soak while preparing the rest of the ingredients. | 3 | In large bowl, mix togheter flour, baking powder and sugar. | 4 | Mix the egg and oil together well and sitr into the cornmeal. | 5 | Add the cornmeal to the flour and stori to moisten. | 6 | Add corn kernals and stir lightly. | 7 | Pour into the prepared pan and bake for 25 minutes or unitl a toothpick comes out clean from teh center of the pan. |
