leafLettuce, iceberg
leafLettuce, looseleaf, raw
celery, diced
mediumCucumber, peeled, raw
tomatoes, peeled and chopped
largegreen onions
olive oil, extra virgin
red wine vinegar
salt, to taste
pepper, to taste
sugar (pinch)

Sequence Step
1Break up lettuce into large bowl. Add next five ingredients.
2In a small bowl or jar with a lid, add remaining ingredients. Mix well.
3Pour Dressing over raw vegetables and toss well.
4Note: Do not add dressing ahead of time as lettuce will wilt.
5To cut the fat content, use 1 tablespoon olive oil, 1 tablespoon vinegar, 1 tablespoon of fat free chicken or vegetable broth.
