Steps
Sequence Step
1Chop or tear kale into small pieces. Dice all ingredients except for garlic and chicken broth. MInce garlic.
2Using a large pot, heat bacon on medium high heat - about 5 minutes. Add onion to pan. Stir until onion cooked through, about 5 minutes.
3Add diced chicken, stir until fully cooked. About 6 minutes.
4Add carrots, garlic, and kale. Stir until all ingredients heated through. Add chicken broth.
5Turn burner to High heat and let soup come to a boil.
6Once to a boil, turn burner to Low and let soup simmer for at least 20 minutes, longer for better flavor. Add salt and pepper to taste.
