Steps
Sequence Step
1In a large skillet cook meat onion, season salt, and pepper until meat is brown and onion is tender. Drain off fat.
2Stir in beans, undrained tomatoes, tomato sauce, uncooked pasta, chili peppers, chili powder, cumin, and garlic salt. Bring to boiling; reduce heat. Simmer, covered, about 20 minutes or until pasta is tender, stirring often.
3Remove skillet from heat; sprinkle mixture with cheese. Cover and let stand about 2 minutes or until cheese is melted.
4Makes 8 servings
