| 1 | Rinse bok choy leaves and roots well. Cut the leaves from the root. | 2 | Chop root to desired size and place in bowl. | 3 | Chop leaves and place in a separate bowl. | 4 | Add olive oil to pot and place on medium heat. Add garlic (minced or pressed) and stir. | 5 | Add chopped roots to olive oil and garlic. Add salt, ginger and red pepper flakes. Cook until tender. When root is tender, add leaves. Stir, adding additional seasonings to taste. | 6 | Turn off heat, stir until leaves are tender. Bok choy is ready to be served. | 7 | Enjoy! |
