1/4
almondalmonds, raw, chopped
1/4

1/8
teaspooncinnamon, ground

tablespoonapplesauce (unsweetened)
1/8
teaspoonAgave syrup
1/4
teaspoonmaple syrup
1/8
teaspoonvanilla extract not imitation
1/4
miniature box (.5 oz)raisins, seedless
Steps
Sequence Step
1Preheat oven to 275.
2In a large bowl, combine first 6 ingredients, mixing well.
3In a small saucepan, bring water, agave, applesauce, maple syrup and vanilla to a simmer. Turn off heat and drizzle liquid over dry ingredients.
4Using a spoon, mix the liquids into the dry ingredients until coated (mixture will still be a bit dry). Spray 2 9x13 cookie sheets lightly with cooking oil. Using your hands, transfer oats to pans by the handful, squeezing to help create small clumps. Spread mix over both pans so oats are evenly distributed.
5Bake for 40 min, stirring every 10 min to make sure oats brown evenly. If your pans have to be on separate oven racks, switch their position with each stir to promote even browning.
6After 40 min, stir in raisins and continue to cook until mix is golden brown. Then remove from oven and let sit until granola has cooled COMPLETELY. Store in airtight container. Granola will keep for a few weeks.
