Beef Empanadas First Try

small box (1.5 oz)raisins, seedless

teaspooncinnamon, ground

teaspoonunsweetened cocoa powder

teaspoonPaprika
1/8
teaspoonSpices, ground cumin

cup (8 fl oz)beef broth, bouillon (consomme) condensed

tablespoonall-purpose flour
Steps
Sequence Step
1Brown ground meat, onions, seasonings.
2Add cooked potatoes (boiled in broth), raisins, peas, broth, flour (made into paste first).
3Cook until done.

Steps
Sequence Step
1Cut flour, baking powder and salt into lard. Add water, vinegar and beaten egg.
2Form ball, then divide into 8 equal parts. Roll out into circles. Fill each circle with 2 tablespoons of filling.
3Spray baking sheet with Pam. Bake at 400 for 15 minutes. Can glaze with tablespoon water, tbls milk, 1 egg and tsp oil.
