Steps
Sequence Step
1Preheat oven to 400 degrees F
2Wash and dry potatoes, boil until softened. Let cool
3Peel and mash until lumps are gone. Mix 2 cups of mashed sweet potatoes and milk.
4In a separate bowl, whisk whole wheat flour, sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt together.
5Using cheese grater, grate 5 tbsp butter into the flour mixture.
6Fold the sweet potato mixture into the flour mixture.
7Place the dough on a flat and floured surface. Pat or roll to 1-1.5 inches tall. Use a biscuit cutter to cut the biscuits.
8Place in oven at 400 degrees and bake for 10-12 min.
