| 1 | Fry bacon in skillet until crisp. Remove bacon and crumble. Set aside and save for topping. Drain off all but 1 TBSP drippings. | 2 | Add onion and brown lightly. | 3 | Stir in cornstarch and dry mustard. | 4 | Drain beans reserving 1/2 cup liquid. Stir reserved liquid in skillet. | 5 | Cook, stirring until mixture boils. | 6 | Blend in brown sugar and vinegar. | 7 | Add green beans and heat thoroughly. | 8 | Turn into serving dish and garnish with egg and crumbled bacon. |
