Steps
Sequence Step
1Pour warm tap water into the food processor and add the yeast. Process until yeast is dissolved.
2Add the sugar and salt and process for a few seconds.
3Add the flour, beginning with one cup and then a little at a time until the dough is forming a ball. Continue to process to knead the dough well.
4Turn dough out onto a floured surface and knead until elastic.
5Form the dough into a ball and place it in a greased bowl, cover and let rise until double.
6Punch the dough down and let it rise oagain.
7Punch the dough down and form two loaves, place them in greased bread pans, cover and let rise until double.
8Slash the top of the loaf down the center and bake at 350 degrees for 27-33 minutes until golden brown.
9Remove immediately from pans and cool completely. If desired you can brush the tops with melted butter/\.
