teaspoonbaking soda

1/8
cupbran flakes cereal
Steps
Sequence Step
1Pour the boiling water over half of the bran and let it stand while you assemble the other ingredients.
2Mix in the shortening.
3Mix rest of bran with sugar, eggs and buttermilk.
4Sift flour with the baking soda and salt.
5Combine all ingredients and put in muffin tins.
6Bake at 400 degrees for 20 minutes
7This mix will keep up to six weeks in your refrigerator. This mix will make up to six dozen muffins.
