Whole Wheat Cream Puffs

1Heat oven to 350
1NOTE: WHEN COOKING THESE CREAM PUFFS CUT THE SHELL RECIPE IN HALF AND COOK THESE ONE HALF BATCH AT A TIME OR THEY MAY NOT COOK CORRECTLY
2Put into a pot on the stove the butter, water and salt.
3Cook until butter is melted and the water starts to boil
4Add flour and mix with wooden spoon fast until the mixture forms a ball and leaves the side of the pan
5Remove from stove and add to a mixing bowl
6Mix on high speed adding eggs one at a time beating well after each egg is added. After the last egg is added beat well so that air gets beat into the mixture.
7Spoon with a tablespoon or small scoop onto a butter greasted cooking sheet.
8Bake until browned and remove from oven. Cool completely.




Pudding for Cream Filling

1On stove cook box of pudding mix with one cup of milk and continue stirring until pudding thickens and starts to bubble.
2poor into a small bowl and cover tightly with plastic wrap so that a skin can not form
3refrigerate until ready to make the cream




Finished Cream Filling

Sequence Step
1Beat Heavy cream adding sugar according to taste and how sweet you want it.
2When cream is whipped up stiff add the cooked pudding beating well to mix the pudding with the whipped cream.
3Take the shells and cut in half. Fill the shells with a full spoon full of cream making sure that each shell is filled fully.
4Arrange on a plate and sprinkle with powdered sugar.
5Make sure you refrigerate them.
