chop, aprox. 4 oz. rawboneless center cut pork chops

tablespooncanola oil

teaspoonchili powder

can (10.75 oz), preparedcream of mushroom soup

fliud ounceswater
1/3
teaspoononion powder
1/3
teaspoongarlic powder
Steps
Sequence Step
1Heat Oil in skillit on medium heat.
2Add chops to skillet. Sprinkle half the chili powder, garlic powder, onion powder, salt and pepper on chops, turn chops and do the same to the other side. Brown Chops.
3Pour soup over chops and spread evenly. Add water. Reduce heat and simmer for 20 to 30 minutes, until chops are no longer pink inside. (Note: The longer you do simmer them, the more tender the meat.)
4Remove from heat. Remove chops to serving platter. Stir mushroom gravy to smooth out soup lumps. Pour into gravy boat.
5Great with mashed potatoes. My family likes them with oven fries and carrot sticks. You can also substitute the onion and garlic powder with one medium onion chopped and two cloves garlic minced. Just saute them for 3 minutes before adding the chops to the skillet.
