2 1/8	links 3 oz	Sausage, Italian, sweet or hot, links
5 2/3	ounces	penne
12	ounces	diced tomatoes (28 oz can)
1/2	cup	fat free half and half
1/2	teaspoon	oregano, dried
1/2	teaspoon	basil
7/8	package (5 oz)	Cheese, parmesan, shredded

Steps

Sequence	Step

1	Cook pasta according to boxed directions
2	cut sausage in bite size pieces and brown
3	add can of tomatoes, oregano, and basil to the cooked sausage and bring to a boil, then reduce over low heat for 15 minutes
4	add half and half to sausage mixture and simmer for 5 minutes
5	add cooked pasta to sausage mixture, stir
6	add parmesan cheese land serve
