1 | Heat oven to 350 degrees and grease a 9x13 pan. |
2 | Combine first five dry ingredients in a large bowl. |
3 | Cut in margarine into dry ingredients with a pastry blender until it resembles coarse crumbs. |
4 | In a small bowl blend eggs with a fork. |
5 | Add milk, eggs, and vanilla into the large bowl with the other ingredients. |
6 | Stir with a fork or large spoon until well blended. |
7 | Pour 2/3 of the batter into the greased pan. |
8 | Top batter with the blueberries. |
9 | Spoon remaining batter over the blueberries. |
10 | Bake for 35 - 45 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean. |
11 | Cool for 30 minutes. |
12 | Optional - After cake cools, blend powdered sugar, almond extract and enough milk to for a drizzle consistancey. |
13 | Drizzle the sugar mixture over the cake. |
