Steps
Sequence Step
1Place vinegar, oil, 1/2 t celery seed, 1/2 t mustard, 1/2 t salt, 1/2 t sugar in a small saucepan. Bring to a boil then lower heat to low and let simmer for 3 minutes. Remove from heat and cool completely. Core and Shred cabbage. Chop onion and jalapeno finely. Mix with cabbage. Add sugar to bowl and stir well. When vinegar mixture is cool, add to vegetables and mix well. Let sit overnight, or at least a few hours.
