Steps

1Preheat oven 375
2Grease baking sheet or line with parchment paper
3Soften steel oats with water for 15min. Continue with next steps while soaking. Drain as much liquid off as possible.
4In a medium bowl Combine flour,salt,baking soda, and quick oats.
5In a large mixing bowl combine softened butter and measures like sugar splenda until cream forms
6Beat in mashed bananas and vanilla
7Beat in eggs one at a time
8Beat in softened steel oats
9Add dry mix a little at a time scraping sides of bowl to mix through each time before adding additional amount
10Add any desired mix ins (nuts,raisins, chocolate chips) *will change nutrition facts
11Drop tablespoon amounts on baking sheet. Cookies will retain shape as they bake. No need for extra space.
12Bake for 11 minutes. Cool on sheet for 5 minutes then transfer to a cooling rack. Refrigerate extra dough if you don''t want to bake all at once.
