slices (6-1/4" x 4" x 1/16") (1 oz)Ham (diced) low fat, reduced sodium
Steps
Sequence Step
1Bring water, 1 cup evaporated milk and macaroni to simmer in nonstick skillet over high heat, stirring often, until macaroni is tender.
2Whisk remaining evaporated milk with cornstarch, mustard and garlic powder, then stir into skillet. Continue to simmer until slightly thickened, about 1 minute.
3Microwave frozen peas approximately 5 minutes, until thawed and slightly warmed, but not cooked. Dice ham.
4Off heat, stir in cheeses, one handful at a time, adding additional water as needed to adjust sauce consistency. Stir in peas and ham and let sit 5 minutes.
