cupred wine vinegar

cupolive oil

teaspoonRed pepper, ground, to taste
Steps
Sequence Step
1Boil the wheatberries in a large pot of boiling water until they are soft and chewy (could be as long as 60 min). Drain them in a strainer.
2Add the drained, slightly cooled wheatberries to a large mixing bowl and add the cranberries, red onion, and parsley.
3Dissolve the salt in the vinegar and pour it all over the wheatberries along with the oil.
4Let sit, covered, for at least 30 minutes, then season to taste with more salt, black pepper, and red pepper.
5Serve at room temperature.
