| 1 | combine 1st 5 ingredients. blend in butter til crumbly. reserve 1 cup for topping. press in bar pan and bake 10 at 350F. | 2 | meanwhile melt caramels with 1/4 cup water in microwave; stir til very smooth.
set aside. | 3 | top baked crust with nuts and chocolate chips. Drizzle melted caromel and top with remaining oat mixture. Bake 15-18 minutes more until lightly browned. Cool, then chill, then slice and enjoy. |
