Sequence Step
1Bring butter to room temperature. Cream the butter. Add salt, cornstarch, and powdered sugar. Slowly mix in these ingredients. They tend to puff all over if not careful. Lastly add all flouer at once and beat on medium with a hand mixer until everything is incorporated. The mixture should be crumbly about pea sized. Lightly pack this into a cookie sheet and us a roller to flatten and lightly pack. Cook for about 15 minutes then take out and cut into cookie size pieces then return to the oven to finish. Take out just as it begins to lightly brown. About 20 to 25 minutes including the first 15. Cool on wax paper overnight do not cover as we are trying to make sure no moisture remains in the cookie. Pack in cookie tins and hand out at Christmas.
